American Made Cedar Log Country Garden Porch Swing
The Lakeland Mills Country Garden Porch Swing is a beautiful 5’ swing that will enhance any yard, porch or patio. It's durable construction is due in part to the Northern White Cedar logs that are naturally insect and rot resistant. The heavy duty hardware used is coated to protect it from the elements. This swing will last for years, on average, between 10-20 years. Cheap, imported imitations cannot compare to the quality that goes into our swings. Other swings, made from Chinese Fir, are not rot and insect resistant, and may only last 1-3 years before having to replace it. Not only that, with imported Chinese Fir, you run the risk of releasing harmful bugs and larva into our own ecosystem.
Lakeland Mills constructs all of our swings and outdoor chairs with our specially designed seat slats. They are contoured and rounded for maximum comfort. The angle of the back also offers great lumbar support; easily the most comfortable swing you will ever sit in.
The swing is shipped partially assembled, with the seat and back pre-assembled. The hardware kit includes the pieces needed for assembly and a complete set of instructions with pictures. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. **5′ A-Frame sold separately.**
