American Made Cedar Log Dining Table
This beautiful stylish outdoor table, with its unique design, is perfect for any patio, deck, or backyard. It has rounded corners for safety, and sports a support system that enables customers to add an umbrella. This table partners up with either the Lakeland Mills dining chairs, or the straight benches. Made with Northern White Cedar logs and Northern White Pine table top, ensures years of enjoyment.
Northern White Cedar is naturally resistant to decay and insects. The integrity of the wood will hold up to the elements better than other species of wood. For example, imported Chinese Fir is not rot and insect resistant, is not a durable wood specie, and can be host to unwanted pests that can, and have, wreak havoc in our own native trees.
Our Roundabout table comes partially assembled. The table top consists of two halves with predrilled holes for screw placement. The legs consist of four pre-made assemblies, making this just about the easiest picnic dining table to put together. You can then apply a finish of choice, or leave it to weather naturally to a beautiful silver grey.

About cracks and checking.
Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
